Skip the Lines
Lightning Lane — the complete guide
Disney's paid skip-the-line system has replaced FastPass+. Here's what you need to know — and how to actually use it well.
Lightning Lane is Disney's current line-skipping program. It replaced the old FastPass+ system and comes in two forms: Lightning Lane Multi Pass (covers most attractions, one at a time throughout your day) and Lightning Lane Single Pass (covers the highest-demand attractions, purchased separately per attraction). Unlike FastPass+, both are paid products — pricing is dynamic and varies by park, date, and demand.
Whether Lightning Lane is worth it depends on your travel dates, party size, and priorities. Our specialists help clients make that call and, when it is worth it, build a strategy that gets the most out of every dollar spent.
Walt Disney World
Four parks, a tier system, and advance booking windows — WDW's Lightning Lane takes more strategy than Disneyland's.
Disneyland Resort
A simpler, same-day system with no tier structure — but knowing which attractions to target still matters.
